Ever wonder what the process of gift planning really looks like for your donors? When they meet with their professional advisors to discuss a planned gift you’ve suggested? Join Bill Albrecht, CFP of Pathways Nonprofit Solutions and Jim Marlow, Esq. of Hamilton Faatz, PC Attorneys at Law for a session dedicated to deepening your understanding of the gift planning process. This session will review three hypothetical gift scenarios from the perspective of donor-advisor conversations. It will address each gift’s financial, tax, and estate planning implications, and identify appropriate recommendations likely to emerge from professional consultation. The session will also touch on what clients typically express to their advisors as factors that motivate their charitable giving.
